AC Savings helps you set the highest comfortable temperature for your AC unit and estimate what you save. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, and no tracking — this policy explains exactly what the app stores and the one thing that ever leaves your phone.
The short version
AC Savings has no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, and no tracking. Everything you enter — your city, your AC units, your electricity rate, your savings history — stays on your phone. We could not read it if we wanted to; nothing is uploaded.
What the app stores (on your device only)
- The city you pick, your AC unit details, your electricity rates
- Your daily and monthly savings history
- Your preferences (theme, °C/°F, notification times)
Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is no cloud copy.
What leaves your phone
One thing: to fetch your weather, the app sends your chosen city’s coordinates(never your GPS location — the app never asks for location permission) to the weather service Open-Meteo (and, if configured, a backup weather provider). No name, no identifier, nothing else is attached.
Notifications
Morning digests and change alerts are scheduled locally on your phone. There is no push server. You can turn them off anytime in Settings or in your phone’s settings.
Purchases
The app is paid once, up front, through the App Store or Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see your payment details.
Children
The app has no accounts, social features, or ads, and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes & contact
