How does AC Savings know what to set?
It reads today’s weather for your city and recommends the highest temperature that still feels comfortable — so you’re cool without overcooling. On hotter days it nudges the number down; on milder days, up.
My AC unit has a dial with no numbers.
No problem. During setup, choose “dial / no numbers” and we’ll guide you by notches instead (e.g. “turn from 3 to 4”) and show your savings as a range.
Do I need a smart AC unit?
No. AC Savings works with any air conditioner — you set it by hand, we tell you the number.

Are the savings exact?
They’re careful estimates, always labelled as such. We use your unit, your usage, and your electricity rate — not a generic average — but real bills depend on many factors.
I changed my electricity rate. What happens to past months?
Closed months keep the rate they were billed at, so your history stays accurate. A new rate applies from the day you set it forward.
Notifications
Will it nag me?
Never. Every notification is optional and off unless you turn it on. Pick only the ones you want in Settings.
Privacy & data
Do you sell my data?
No. See our Privacy Policy — the app has no accounts, no ads, and no tracking, and collects as little as possible.
How do I delete my data?
Clear it in the app under Settings, or simply delete the app — everything lives on your device only, so there’s no account or cloud copy left behind.
